THE EFFECT OF VARIOUS POWDERED MATERIALS ON THE STABILITY OF PROTEIN FOAMS

Hird, D. and Fittes, D.W., 1960. THE EFFECT OF VARIOUS POWDERED MATERIALS ON THE STABILITY OF PROTEIN FOAMS. Fire Research Notes 418

ABSTRACT

The effect of some powders on the stability of foam has been examined both in fire tests and a small-scale laboratory test developed by the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory. The results of these test methods are compared. Some materials which would probably cause little foam breakdown in practice are suggested.
